Diversity, Equity, and Justice Committee

Purpose

  • To identify organizational strengths and opportunities, based on past and present data as well as membership input, to increase diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice for the benefit of LRA’s mission and values.
  • To identify and recommend organizational changes, recommendations, and trainings to support diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice throughout all LRA offerings, including but not limited to the Annual Conferences, publications, and position statements.
  • To support organizational research initiatives related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice within literacy research, assessment and policies.
  • To support training and outreach to increase diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice amongst the membership of LRA.

Committee Members
