Special Registration Option for K-12 Students and
Community-Based Research Partners

We are pleased to offer a special registration category for:

K-12 Students

K–12 students currently enrolled in elementary, middle, or high school may be eligible for a reduced registration rate.

To qualify, verification is required in the form of either:

A valid student photo ID, or
A letter of affiliation from an educational institution, which must include the name of the LRA member with whom the student has an active research partnership.

Community-Based Research Partners

A community-based research partner is a collaborator actively engaged in research with an LRA member. This may include community organization staff, classroom teachers, educational leaders, or other relevant contributors.

To qualify, verification is required in the form of either:

A valid faculty or staff photo ID, or
A letter of affiliation from an educational institution, which must include the name of the LRA member with whom the student has an active research partnership.

If you believe you meet the criteria for either of these categories, please email LRA Headquarters (lrahq@literacyresearchassociaiton.org) with your supporting documentation. We will be happy to review your eligibility and provide registration instructions.
